Brownie

This is an easy recipe, I got from my friend Pramila Gamage. I love this recipe, it tastes really well. You will see a big difference when you compare this with a brownie made from a brownie mixture brought from the market.

Preparation time: 7-10 min

Baking time: 25-30 min

Yield about 2-dozen

Ingredients:

                        ½  cups             Melted butter
1 cups               Granulated Sugar (caster sugar)
                        2                       Eggs
                        1/3  cups          Cocoa powder
                        ¼ teaspoon      Salt
                        ½ cups             Flour
                        1 teaspoon       Vanilla Extract

Directions:

Pre-heat the oven to 350 F (180 C). Take a large bowl and put the butter onto it. Afterword, add the next ingredient and mix it, add next and mix it, keep doing this until all the ingredients are mixed. Then pour the mixture into a baking dish (I prefer 8" circular dish) and, put it in the oven for about 27 min.

Brownie is quite similar to a cake, so we can use the a similar method (like toothpick technique ) to check whether its ready to take out from the oven. usually I take it out when it smell nicely, and stay stiffly in the pan when I shake it. Brownie is crispy from the top and moisture at inside, so don't forget to cut it into pieces as soon after you took it from the oven. Hope you will enjoy this recipe.
